Everleap Attains Microsoft Silver Partner for 2017-2018

Takeshi EtoEverleap successfully renewed our Microsoft Partnership for 2017 – this time with the Silver Datacenter competency.

We invest our time and resources every year to meet the requirements that Microsoft sets for their Microsoft Partner Network program. We do this to demonstrate our commitment to staying on top of Microsoft technologies, and to maintain access to Microsoft resources that are only available to partners.

One thing you probably noticed is the change the in partner level and the switch to the Datacenter competency. While we pride ourselves on successfully maintaining our Microsoft Gold Partner status for the past 11 years, because of recent changes that Microsoft made to the partner program, this year we were awarded the Silver Datacenter competency.

Starting in 2017, Microsoft retired the Hosting competency. But the change that had the most impact on us was Microsoft increasing the weight of revenue generation. So while we meet all the other requirements for the Gold Partner level, we just aren’t big enough as a company to meet the SPLA revenue requirements to get the Gold status.

We’ll keep innovating and moving forward and we will keep our eyes on the Gold.
