Everleap donated 19 free hosting accounts to well-deserving charity organizations for the 2017 Dallas GiveCamp. The event was huge this year! Of course, we’re only a small part of the event. The most valuable donations come from the volunteer developers, designers and project managers. Combined, about $712,000 was donated. Charities include Della’s House of Giving, Go VFF and Seeds to STEM.
Everleap is donating ten free hosting accounts to charities participating in the Southwest Ohio GiveCamp, happening on Oct. 20th. Participants this year include the Miami Valley Nonprofit Collaborative, Project SEARCH and the Learning Tree Farm. There’s a ton of work ahead of the GiveCamp team this weekend. Check it out here. We wish them an awesome event!
October 14, 2017. One day, 70+ sessions, 500+ attendees, free to attend. The 2017 NYC Code Camp is being held in the brand new Microsoft Technology Center in Times Square. Everleap is a proud sponsor of the event!
We are sponsoring the 2017 Iowa Code Camp. The Code Camp will be held at the Marriott in Coralville, IA on Saturday, July 22. As always, it’s a community-driven event, designed for and by developers, and free to attend.
We are happy to help out the CRinenta and Iowa .NET groups. We wish them a great event!
AZGroups held an event in January featuring Scott Guthrie himself.
Even though Scott is now insanely busy as the Executive Vice President of the Cloud and Enterprise group at Microsoft, he still takes the time to do these events and code in front of developers in his signature red polo shirt. It’s pretty impressive.
The event was held at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
We’re supporting the AZ GiveCamp’s Phoenix 2017 Hackathon-of-Help this year by providing life-time free hosting services to participating non-profit organizations. The event brings together over 50 developers, designers and project managers to build websites and web apps for 8 local NPO’s, including Girl Develop It and CommunityCause.org.
We’re very happy to help the cause. This year, the event is being held at the new Galvanze facility. If you’re in the area would like to get involved, check out their MeetUp page. Sleep is optional, meals and caffeine provided.
Everleap is sponsoring the 2017 Orlando Code Camp. The event will be held on April 8th, at Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida. Coming hot on the heels of the South Florida Code Camp, the Orlando Code Camp this year will have 98 presentations for the 600 attendees. There are 74 total speakers, including our old friends Jeffrey Fritz and John Papa. The event is free! If you’re interested in attending, you can register here.
We’re very proud to sponsor the Orlando Code Camp and wish Brian Mishler and the Orlando .NET User Group a great event!
We are proudly sponsoring the South Florida Code Camp 2017 this year. The one-day (free!) Geek Fest is being held on March 11, 2017 at the Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Although they’re on the other side of the country from us here in Southern California, we’re always happy to help the developer community nationwide (and sometimes worldwide).
We wish them a great event! If you want to attend the free event, you can register here.
We sponsored and attended the 2016 SoCal Code Camp on November 12th. We sponsor Code Camp events all over the country every year, but we always look forward to the SoCal event on the USC campus. It’s one of the few events that are local, so we can get out there to meet new and old friends from the Los Angeles developer community.
Here we are during one of the few quiet moments during speaker sessions.
Hattan Shobokshi (pictured above in a red t-shirt) organized a great event! Turnout was awesome this year with lots of new faces amongst the several hundred attendees.
We sponsored the Dallas GiveCamp again over the first weekend of October by donating free hosting services to the participating charities. GiveCamps are weekend-long events where software developers, designers, analysts, and project managers donate their time to create software and databases for nonprofit organizations. We love working with Patrick Swain at Slalom Consulting, and all the rest of the generous volunteers at the Dallas GiveCamp.
The 2016 charities included:
