I’m excited to announce the launch of Private MongoDB hosting at Everleap.
This new premium NoSQL solution will provide you with your own private MongoDB server. Your MongoDB databases will get access to all of the disk space, CPU and RAM on the virtual machine. And like our other hosting services, it is fully managed. We will handle all the server updates and security at no additional cost, freeing you to devote your time and resources to your website and applications rather than server maintenance.
Last year we attained EU-US Privacy Shield Certification and the policy update included legacy Swiss-US Safe Harbor language. But earlier this year, a new Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework was approved. And on April 12th, the US Department of Commerce started accepting applications for the new Swiss-US Privacy Shield framework.
There are some differences between the EU-US Privacy Shield and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield frameworks. We worked with our privacy management solutions partner, Truste, to make sure that our privacy policies and practices meet the requirements of both frameworks. So I am happy to announce that we have attained Swiss-US Privacy Shield Certification.
Today we announce two new services that we are introducing in partnership with SpamExperts, who offer premium email security solutions.

You can also get daily quarantine summary report.
We have introduced a new tool to add SQL users to the Managed SQL section of Control Panel.
But…Managed SQL it isn’t called Managed SQL anymore. Now it’s Private SQL.
We recently introduced Private MySQL, and for the sake of consistency (and descriptiveness) we changed Managed SQL to Private SQL.
Everleap successfully renewed our Microsoft Partnership for 2017 – this time with the Silver Datacenter competency.
We invest our time and resources every year to meet the requirements that Microsoft sets for their Microsoft Partner Network program. We do this to demonstrate our commitment to staying on top of Microsoft technologies, and to maintain access to Microsoft resources that are only available to partners.
Everleap is supporting the new Microsoft MVP Reconnect program by offering free cloud hosting services to members.
Microsoft has long had a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) program to honor top technology experts for their contributions to their communities.
We’re excited to announce the availability of Private MySQL Hosting at Everleap.
This new premium MySQL solution will provide you with your own private MySQL server that is not shared with any other customer. Your MySQL databases will get access to all of the disk space, CPU and RAM on the virtual machine. And similar to all of our other hosting services, it is fully managed. We will handle all the server updates and security at no additional cost, freeing you to devote your time and resources to your website and web application and not on server maintenance.
We mentioned previously that on December 1st new ICANN rules are going into effect that change the way some domain contact information changes are processed. Well, here we are, and now we know a bit more about how the changes are going to be handled by our registrar, OpenSRS, so here’s an update.
First, the change affects all “generic top level domains.” Those are domains like .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, etc., and it includes all of the new domain extensions, like .blog, .photo, etc. Country code domains such as .uk, .tv, .co, etc. are not governed by ICANN, so they are not affected.
With the help of our privacy management solutions partner, Truste, I am happy to announce that Everleap has attained Privacy Shield certification.
The Privacy Shield framework replaces the former Safe Harbor framework that was struck down by an EU court in 2015. Starting in August 2016, the Department of Commerce started accepting certifications under the new Privacy Shield framework.
We believe our efforts are a differentiator and demonstrates our commitment to protecting your privacy. I hope you do too.
There are some confusing aspects to domain name registration and maintenance, and unfortunately, some changes are about to be implemented that may well add to that confusion.
On December 1, 2016, new ICANN rules go into effect that create another step when you change the first name, last name, contact email or organization fields for your domain. Doing any of those things will now trigger the “trade process.” Which means those minor ownership information changes will now be treated the same way a domain transfer is treated.
